Clean Links Before Sharing

Before sharing a link, look at the URL.

Many links contain tracking parameters that are not needed for opening the page. They usually appear after a? and include things like:

utm_source= utm_medium= utm_campaign= fbclid= gclid= mc_cid=

A clean link is usually much shorter.

For example.com, instead of sharing this:

example.com/article

Share this:

example.com/article

The easiest method is manual: delete everything after the? when the page still opens correctly.

This is not about hiding the link itself. It is about avoiding unnecessary tracking baggage when passing links between people. A small cleanup makes the link shorter, cleaner, and less tied to where you found it.
