The Cost Falls on the Displaced

The Cost Falls on the Displaced 图片 1

A proof that runs from this site's own primitives — ground state, displacement, return cost — to ahimsa, and stops exactly where it must. The physics gives an asymmetry: the displacer pays once for doing, the displaced pays continuously for being held. It does not give an imperative. One normative premise has to be added by hand, and the paper names it rather than smuggling it. What survives is narrower and harder than a proof of veganism: given a premise almost everyone already holds, the framework's only measured instrument leaves no principled place to stop short of animals.
