Token Pricing Confusion

I recently added some funds to OpenRouter and started experimenting with DeepSeek V4 Flash. I asked it to build a simple to-do app, but it ended up consuming over 1 million tokens. I’m not sure if that’s normal. I’ve also heard people say that $5 can last an entire month when using the Flash model, but in my case, it already used around $0.09 for just this one task. I’m still new to how tokens, pricing, and different models work, so I might be misunderstanding something. Could someone clarify if this level
