Two providers on OpenRouter are already cheaper than DeepSeek for V4 Flash 0731

This is kind of clickbait, since the numbers update in real time and DeepSeek is slightly back in the lead since I took the screenshot, but there are seems to be ~3 providers who have roughly the same "effective in" pricing as DeepSeek. See for yourself: openrouter.ai/deepseek/deepseek-v4-flash-0731 Ignore the "Effective out" if you are using coding agents; generally you will use 10 to 100 times more input tokens with coding agents, so that pricing is effectively irrelevant. "Effective in" is the important one. It's the effective price users are paying for their input tokens once you factor in the cache discounts. Also, these providers claim to be providing the full "fp8" model; the same that DeepSeek is using.
