The Ryzen AI Halo is a turn-key AMD local AI box that’s backed up with first-party software support, handy utilities, and plenty of documentation for local AI explorers. But the performance and application compatibility of the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 (aka Strix Halo) SoC still trails Nvidia’s GB10, and it’s pricey for what it offers.
