What is this style of font I see everywhere?

I am not a design expert but I can’t stop seeing this style or category of font everywhere these days. To me it seems a bit juvenile yet even “serious” companies like Air Canada (I live in Canada) have really committed to this font, updating exterior building signage (there’s a maintenance facility at Toronto airport) and in-airport. Lufthansa, Starbucks, Amazon, Uber (theirs is the most different), Wal-Mart, McDonalds. It’s not exactly the same across the board, but there’s a similarity - thick, round edge
