How do people make aesthetic posts/posters?

I’m new to graphic design (messing around with canva), and I can’t find tutorials or explanations on how people make designs like this. I drew some stuff out for privacy, but I don’t know how to create anything like this at all. How do graphic designers do it? Is there a how to guide I missed?
