开源轮椅制作日
<p>在BARC峰会的第二天，我们在GOAT Space举办了一场开源轮椅建造日活动。这是一场规模较小、形式更为自由的聚会，旨在汇聚一批杰出的辅助技术极客、发明家和制造者，共同探讨我们能够携手实现的可能性。<br><br>当天共有20余位朋友前来参与。</p><figure><img src="https://www.openassistivetech.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/hands-on-piper.jpg" alt="three people's hands pulling together a pvc pipe wheelchair"></figure><p>来自https://opensourcewheelchairs.org的Erik Kondo专程飞来（旅费由OSHWA资助），他本人就坐着自己用PVC管设计并打造的“Piper”轮椅。<br><br>他还为我们寄来了儿童版“Half‑Pipe”，供我们参考。</p><p>Ralf Hotchiss到场，与我们分享了他打造“Rough Rider”并借助其组织“Whirlwind Wheelchair International”将其推向国际市场的历程。<br><br>聆听他讲述上世纪六七十年代乃至更久远的故事，令人深受启发！即便我们的工作坊和设备尚未完善，让他略感尴尬，他仍全程悉心指导“Piper”的组装过程，提供了诸多宝贵建议。</p><figure><img src="https://www.openassistivetech.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/ralf-erik-goat.jpg" alt="Two manual wheelchair users pose together, arms and wheels linked"><figcaption>Erik Kondo and Ralf Hotchkiss</figcaption></figure><p>来自Make Good的Dana Schwachman介绍了她设计的TOM轮椅，以及仍在不断迭代的、面向幼儿的3D打印移动训练椅。在“Piper”的制作过程中，Dana也以扎实的动手能力和丰富的经验给予了我们有力的支持。</p><figure><img src="https://www.openassistivetech.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/ian-erik-dana-build.jpg" alt="two wheelchair users, talking with dana, workshop background"><figcaption>Ian, Erik, and Dana deep in conversation</figcaption></figure><p>Corbett O’…</p>
