Why do some everyday objects nail their design so perfectly that you never want to replace them?
There are certain objects we use daily that just feel right. Not because they are flashy or expensive, but because every decision behind them seems intentional. The weight, the grip, the proportions, the way light hits the surface. You pick it up and it disappears in your hand in the best possible way. I have been thinking about this a lot lately with things like a good kitchen knife, a wellmade door handle, or even a simple pen.
