Nice feature. Using Fidelity as both brokerage and bank eliminates this as an issue, and generally you're going to earn more in the Fidelity cash fund (e.g., SPAXX) than in a bank checking account. I like this so much that even though our main brokerage is at Schwab, we use Fidelity for cash management. I can do same day wires between Schwab and Fidelity (either way) for free, and ditto between Fidelity and Ally; I only use the latter for Zelle, since that's the one banking feature I use that Fido doesn't p
