Discoverability (I will not promote)

I've implemented a POC/MVP thing, and already I suspect the thing is just going to rot and die on the vine like everything else I've done has. I have two hobby projects that've been out there for a couple years now and I just get AWS bills to service bots and crawlers. I was going to mash the new ec2 instance button but I'm hesitant to pay more money for more junk no one will ever see. I'm not really looking to make money like a traditional startup.
