I spent hours researching how to start an LLC and now I am more confused than when I started "i will not promote"

I went down a full rabbit hole today trying to figure out the “right” way to set this up. I am building a small SaaS tool and figured I should get the structure right early so I'm not screwed when I have to do my taxes. I have seen arguments on this subredit and other ones for small business in favor of DIYing your business filings, using online services, waiting until you've made a certain profit/revenue, doing it immediately, etc. How did you actually go about the process of incorporating? submitted by /u
