Two things! GlobalQuake has an open source platform for essentially crowd sourcing seismic data using Raspberry Pis. I think they even have pre-built kits that you can order. I can't seem to find them at the moment though. And on the sharing front, LocalSend it's a open source Apache V2 licensed cross platform sharing application. It works for Android, Windows, Linux, Mac. It's essentially an alternative to air drop. And from my experience it's really easy to use.
