Microsoft Edge is getting a Google account sign-in option, rolling out July 2026. You can already sign into Edge with your Gmail, and sync is on. Combined with plans to drop the forced Microsoft account requirement in Windows 11 setup, Microsoft is clearly easing its MSA grip after years of pushing it on users.
