Working on an update for winter and christmas for my journaling app.

A few weeks ago I shared the journal app I’ve been building on my own. This is the winter update: snow now falls behind the pages in December. You can actually turn it off too. For anyone who missed the first post, here’s what it is. A journal where people get their own page. You write like you always would. Type @ and a name, and that moment also lands on their page. Years later you can open someone’s page and read your whole history together, in your own words. What you can do: Write entries with photos, audio, songs, location and weather. Mention people with @. Rename or merge someone later, and every old entry follows. Look back with On This Day, a calendar, a map, and search that understands time, like “Christmas with Jane” or “last summer”. Import from Day One and Apple Journal, then tag the people in your old entries. Export everything to an open, documented archive. Your journal is never locked in. Privacy: No account. Nothing to sign up for. No AI reading or writing your entries. Your journal lives on your device. Sync is optional and goes through your own iCloud, not my server. I don’t have one. Writing, people, memories, import and export are all free, with no limits, and the free app never expires. It runs natively on Mac, iPhone and iPad. I’d love to hear what you think.
