[ Trivia ] The Costco hotdog combo has not had a price increase in over four decades.

In 1984, Costco began offering a $1.50 combo deal in its food courts which included a soda and a single hot dog. The deal was introduced only one year after opening its very first warehouse. As of 2026 the price has never been increased on the combo. If adjusted for inflation the cost of the combo would have risen over three fold (to $4.86 USD at time of writing). As late as 2024 Costco has stated publically that they do not ever intend to increase the price.
