TravelMore: Built with DeepSeek, for DeepSeek: an open-source travel planner with real tools
I built a self-hosted travel agentic planner with DeepSeek, and I use mostly Deepseek as my travel agent. What it actually does - Hierarchical trips → stops → places, with dates, notes, checklists and photos - OpenStreetMap pins, place search, reverse geocoding - Place enrichment: coordinates from Nominatim, descriptions + photos from Wikipedia (only empty fields are filled, never overwritten) - Resizable workspace: itinerary rail / map + details / assistant - Flight price monitor: full origins × destinations × dates matrix, Google Flights and Skyscanner readers via Chrome/CDP, cheapest badges, per-cell refresh and price history - Provider manager with the models.dev catalog + ChatGPT OAuth as an alternative to API keys The assistant runs through the Pi SDK with an explicit tool set — no shell, no filesystem: list_trips, get_trip_tree, create_node, update_node, move_node, save_todo, save_image, search_places, place_info, complete_place(s), web_search, execute_js (disabled by default) Stack: Node 22 + TypeScript, TinyBubble + Leaflet, Vite, RpcAble over WebSocket, Pi SDK for the agent, puppeteer-core for the flight readers.
