When I graduated, the industry wanted mid-level designers. Freshers? Not enough experience. Now that I've got the experience, the industry wants juniors. Preferably at junior prices, with senior-level expectations. Budget issues 💀 AI? Sure, let's throw money at every shiny tool and generate 500 pieces of slop.🤷 Human creativity? Let's hire one senior to supervise the entire circus.🤡 Meanwhile, somewhere between experience, expectations, budgets and algorithms, designers are just trying to exist.
