Finally caved and installed the ArtCraft suite

Held out for a long time, but I finally gave in and checked out ArtCraft today, an open-source suite of lightweight, native creative tools built from the ground up to replace bloated, subscription-heavy industry software. Since I rely on the Adobe Creative Suite daily both at the studio and at home, and ArtCraft intentionally mirrors Adobe’s core lineup and workflows, Adobe will naturally be my main benchmark here. There are 17 apps available right now managed through a super clean launcher, and I grabbed everything except MaterialCraft and TextureCraft, seeing ~100MB installers and instant startup times is honestly crazy compared to what we’re used to in heavy production environments. I’m going to put each app through its paces and share a proper breakdown soon, though in the meantime I’m really curious to hear what early adopters think so far, especially with the developer’s Discord already past 200K+ members and the project sitting at 43K+ stars on GitHub. preview.redd.it/eaa7ki0aimzh1.png
