Claude is on another level and is not even close..
I have access to both Claude Max and ChatGPT Pro. I pay for Claude Max for myself and the company I work for gave me access to a ChatGPT pro subscription. I truly believe that holding two subscriptions (if it's possible) instead of taking sides is the best way to go, both companies have a lot to offer and it would be dumb to take sides and miss out on either of them "IF" you can take advantage of both. With the latest updates, Opus 5.5 in particular, Claude has been a joy to work with. Opus understands everything I throw at it no matter how. My prompt might be a total mess, Claude will help me break it down by asking the important questions, nothing more, nothing less.. I was working with a deadline a few days ago, something broke that I had to fix before my shift the next day. I already worked on it the whole day, even past my shift, at night I told Claude to take over otherwise I would not have made it in time. I always monitor my agents, I don't hand them everything and walk away, they work alongisde me, but this time I had to otherwise i would be looking at an all nighter. Asked him what Codex can take over to save some time and Claude handed a few of the final tasks in the spec to Codex, irrelevant to what Claude was working on, but needed for the final outcome. In a span of 6 hours, Claude finished his tasks using Sonnet for implementation and Opus for review, if a review got blocked, Opus at a lower effort fixed the issues and back to Opus max for review to cut down multiple rounds by Sonnet. Checked and corrected Codex's work, made some decisions for me that I would have made myself and gave me a handoff to understand exactly what he did while I was asleep. I only gave Claude one prompt and that's it. There's so much about this I'm in awe of, delegation used to need external tools, not a prompt, I also have a feeling Claude knew from past decisions I made how I would decide and went with it, but I can't prove it. I woke up to an incredible handoff and a handful of decisions only I could make, which after making, Claude only needed a few minutes to finish up. Incredible, honestly..
