Synthetic Imagination II: An exploration of composition
This past September, SFI Director of Experimental Projects, Caitlin McShea, and SFI Research Fellow Tony Eagan co-hosted the Santa Fe Institute’s second annual Synthetic Imagination event, a multi-day symposium exploring human innovation. Last year’s inaugural session was devoted to the role imagination plays in architecture and urban design. This year's event, devoted to composition, featured talks and performances with connections deep and delicate enough to make the event itself a model of human composition.
