Switching from Codex to Claude Code - any tips on initial setup and keeping usage under control?
Hey guys, I'm about to switch from Codex to Claude Code, but I've never used Claude Code before. In Codex, I currently use sol 6.1 high/extra high mainly to help with game dev, web app development, and a few text-based things. But lately it’s just been kind of slow, so I decided to check out Claude. My biggest concern is the usage limits. I'm not a heavy coder, more of a moderate level user, but in Codex I barely survived within my limits. I also have a Gemini Pro subscription which handles most of my general text tasks, so I'd mostly be using Claude Code for dev work. For those of you using it, what are the best setup tips you’ve learned since you started? How do you keep your usage from blowing up? Since I'm a newcomer to Claude Code, any advice on how to get started on the right foot would be super helpful. Thanks!
