Struggle with personal branding

Hi! I'm a graphic designer/motion designer currently finishing my internship and still working on building my portfolio and social media presence. Back when I was studying, we reached the point where we were told to create our own personal brand, so we spent some time developing our individual branding. I struggled quite a bit with mine because my name is pretty long and I couldn't really make it look good. Eventually, I came up with something I liked, but lately I've been feeling like it doesn't really represent me anymore. It feels a bit impersonal, and what I really want is for people to associate my work with me . My name is Mariela Amaya. I've already decided I wouldn't include my last names in my branding cause they are also too long, but what do you guys think about using my first name as it is? I honestly don't know how I feel about it hahaha. Also, when I think about using it as my Instagram handle, it feels way too long, especially if I add something like ".design" or "_motion" or anything similar. Any advice, thoughts, or even ideas would be really appreciated :)
