NeatTake - I built a Mac screen recorder after getting frustrated with the one I was using
I kept running into errors with the free screen recorder I was using, so I decided to build my own. It's called NeatTake. I'm the developer, and I've been working on it solo since late June. You record your screen, then adjust the zooms, smooth out the cursor, add a background and export an MP4. It can record your webcam, mic and system audio too. Captions and noise reduction run locally, and your recordings aren't uploaded. I wanted something I could use for my own demos without another subscription. There's still a lot I want to improve, but it's ready for people to try. It's $9.99 one-time for the first 100 buyers, then $19.99. No code needed. That covers up to 3 Macs and a year of updates. You can keep using your version after that. There's a full 7-day trial starting when you first sign in with Google. It needs an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer), macOS 13+. neattake.com If you record demos or tutorials, I'd like to know how this fits your workflow. If you try it, where did you get stuck?
