Codex voice mode (whisper) has functionally regressed

I just updated my Codex app on macOS yesterday. I've been doing this regularly using the update button on the bottom left. And it has seemed to work fine. But yesterday when I did that, the voice dictation or the whisper mode has really seemed to functionally regressed. It doesn't capture the speech completely. And from what it captures, it doesn't actually produce a correct transcription which initially it used to do almost close to perfectly. Have others also faced the same issue? Is there some workaround for this or has this issue already been escalated? It seems to work as expected in the web voice dictation mode though. Thanks
