Polymarket Halts Some Trading After Users Report Hacks

Polymarket suspended trading on its prediction markets app outside the U.S. after one of the company’s vendors was “compromised” in an apparent hacking attempt that some customers said drained their funds.

In a message to users in a Discord forum, Polymarket promised to cover losses any customers suffered. Polymarket restarted trading on its international platform on Thursday afternoon.

Polymarket said it referred the incident to law enforcement. Trading on Polymarket’s U.S. exchange was not affected.
