Our bounce rate hit 66%, so we redesigned our website and added a live demo( i will not promote)

Our bounce rate went from 48% to 66% in the last 7 days. So, we decided to make some changes to our website. We redesigned the hero section and added a live demo. The idea is simple: instead of just telling people what it does, let them try it themselves. Here's where we stand right now: → 158 unique visitors → 1,668 page views → 66% bounce rate Reddit is bringing us traffic, but most of those visitors aren't our ideal customers. So, there's still a lot to figure out. We're focusing on two things: Getting the right people to our website. Making it easier for them to understand and try it out. Are people understanding what we're building? Are they signing up? Are they actually trying the demo? We don't have all the answers yet. For now, I don't want to overthink the bounce rate. First, we need to get the right people to the website and see how they respond to these changes. Then we'll figure out what to improve next. One step at a time. edit: just to clear the confusion - based on the feedback from people and all time high bounce rate we redesigned the hero section. this data is before the design and demo. there are improvements and the rate is down to 40% in just 2 days. the page views data is inflated due to our testing.
