Codex Pro ($100/month): Should I use my manual reset before it expires? How do these actually work?

I'm on the $100/month Pro plan and using Codex pretty heavily. Here's my situation: - I'm only on day 2 of my 7-day weekly usage window. - I'm already down to approximately 25% of my weekly allowance. - I currently have two manual resets showing. - One expires today, around 1:23 PM Central. - The other appears to expire about a week later. I'm trying to understand how these manual resets actually work. My questions: If I don't use the reset before it expires, do I permanently lose it? If I use one now, will I still receive another reset later, or are these a fixed number of credits? Do unused resets roll over, or is it strictly use-it-or-lose-it? Does using a manual reset restore the entire weekly allowance, or just part of it? Is there any downside to using one before expiration, especially when I still have 25% of my weekly usage remaining? I know OpenAI occasionally makes adjustments to usage limits, but I'm mostly interested in understanding the actual mechanics of these manual resets. For anyone who's used them, what happened afterward? I'm leaning toward using the one expiring today rather than letting it disappear, but I'd appreciate hearing from people who've actually tested this.
