Kilter : an AI-first planning and tracking app for Canadians and Americans. Free during the alpha. Ever since I worked at Wealthsimple (Canadian fintech) about 10 years ago I've been obsessed with personal finance. I got laid off from my SWE job a little while ago, so I decided to build the product I've always wanted. It's an AI-first financial planning tool with all the bells and whistles you might want: - Plaid integration for account sync and transactions - Full fledged reports for spending habits and investments - Deep projection engine with full support for both US and CA taxes (except for QC, sorry guys!) - Simulate Monte Carlo scenarios with optional market crashes (AI bubble anyone?) - It works out where each year’s savings should go and what order you should be withdrawing in retirement - Built with AI in mind from the very start. Bring your own AI and talk to the MCP, or use the in-app assistant to ask questions about your money. - Easily import from most other tools with a few clicks (Monarch, ProjectionLab, YNAB, etc) It's in alpha, so it's free while I iron out the major kinks.
