Nvidia Invests $3 Billion in Meta in Deeper AI Partnership

Nvidia will invest $3 billion in Meta Platforms’ equity offering, as the two companies expand their technological collaboration to maximize the performance of Meta’s Muse personal agent app and foundation models.
Meta plans to expand its deployment of Nvidia’s advanced Vera Rubin AI hardware and Vera central processing units to drive maximum performance for its next-generation AI agents, the companies said.
The expanded partnership focuses on making Meta’s AI products run more efficiently on Nvidia’s hardware, improving the inference and training of Meta’s Muse agent and underlying models.
The Muse agent, released in September, serves as a central pillar of Meta’s consumer AI strategy. The tech giant has also stepped up its effort in foundation models, with the recent release of its new flagship model, Muse Wonder Full, which demonstrated top-tier performance on some benchmarks.
