See the searches behind a ChatGPT answer, without digging through DevTools
The question you ask ChatGPT and the searches it runs can be quite different. If you're trying to understand why it finds certain pages, that difference is worth seeing. I built a free Chrome extension, ChatGPT Query & Source Extractor, that collects the available search queries and source URLs from a conversation and exports them to CSV. The extraction is processed locally in your browser. I work on GBPly, which is Google Business Profile management software. For a product in that market, I'd start with an agency's actual problem, such as managing several profiles, then inspect whether the searches focus on reporting, reviews or client approvals. That gives you a more useful page brief than guessing from the prompt alone. You can also inspect the network responses manually. The extension makes that part easier. It only sees exposed data, and a retrieved URL isn't necessarily a citation in the final answer. chromewebstore.google.com/detail/chatgp...-extr/fggepeiedjcbnhbioinmiomfjnlbgfnp
