One-year election analytics fellowship at the New York Times
Will Davis writes:
We ended up hiring somebody who had seen the job posting through your blog, and he is fantastic. I also wanted to let you know that we have a fellowship slot open. This is a one-year, full-time position to get to be a part of the Election Analytics department at The Times and get to work with the team that produces The Needle, The Times/Siena Poll, our early vote trackers, analytical journalism about elections and, starting this election, Times Voter Trends. The exact form of this role will depend on the individual’s background. Candidates that are more comfortable writing than coding and want to deepen their technical skills to more easily answer questions themselves and candidates that bring a background as a developer or statistician and want to work on their ability to communicate your ideas in words will be considered equally. The deadline to apply is Nov. 20, no exceptions.
This looks interesting and important.
