I Fixed Web Search, and Now My Codex Usage Lasts Longer

i noticed my Codex usage was draining really fast whenever i asked the agent to do multiple web searches. around 80% gone. but with the same prompt, when i explicitly said “don’t do any web search,” it only used around 10%. that’s a big difference. so i created my own search skills for Codex. (works on claude code also) now i can do even more searches without seeing the same drain on my Codex limit. and so far, i’m getting better results while burning fewer tokens.
