An Apology to Readers

Hello dear Mars fans!

I aim to post here on a one to two week cadence, and have mostly kept to that schedule since I started the newsletter in February. But this has been a challenging month, and I’m slower than I’d like to be getting the next post out the door. I am very sorry about this!

Rather than publish a draft that’s not fully there, I’d like to take a few more days to get the details right, and I hope you’ll bear with me.

I’m still greatly enjoying writing the newsletter! Here’s a little taste of what’s in my drafts folder, to take us through the end of the year:

• The Hunt for Solar Siblings
• The Real Space Race is on Mars (on China’s Mars program)
• Searching for Shadow Life on Earth
• A Brief but Terrifying History of Russian Nukes in Space
• The Nature of LUCA
• Designing Your Martian Starter Home
• A Telescope at the End of the Solar System

Thanks for sticking with me! And this is a good place to note that I also welcome any suggestions and ideas for future posts you’d like to see. Founding members get the right to select two topics for me to write about, but I don’t turn my nose up at suggestions from anyone.

With gratitude,

Maciej C.
