OpenAI lied about earning revenues

Now that the IPO S-1 document has been leaked we now know that OpenAI actual revenues were $3.7 Billion in 2024 and $13.07 Billion in 2025. Compare that to statements they made in the past: they claimed that the revenues were $6B in 2024, and $20B+ in 2025: openai.com/index/a-business-that-scales-with-the-value-of-intelligence I know that's annualized, but it's still deliberately misleading submitted by /u/lefty200 [link] [comments]
