I'm building a plant app for people with a lot of plants. It asks how the soil feels instead of following a calendar (pre-launch, feedback welcome)

Hi all, I'm the solo dev building Leafkept, a plant care app for iPhone and iPad. It isn't out yet, and I'd like some honest feedback before it is. It's for people with a lot of plants. Once every windowsill is full, a reminder that says "water every 7 days" stops being much help, because each plant dries out at its own pace. The main idea: a soil check before each watering. When a plant is due, Leafkept asks how the soil feels: dry, slightly damp or wet. Your answer moves that plant's next check earlier or later, so over time each plant ends up on its own schedule. If you'd rather keep a plant on a timer, you can pin it to a fixed schedule and the app leaves it alone. I'm not the first app to use soil checks. I just want it to be the part that works best, because it's the screen I expect people to use most. The rest is built around big collections: - Plants are grouped by room, and the Today list shows only what's due. - "Water all in Living room" ticks off a whole room in one tap. - On iPad you get your plant list and a plant's details side by side. - Every watering, soil check and note goes into that plant's journal. It stays on your device, and you can export all of it as a file you can open in a spreadsheet. - Plant ID is in there as an extra. It shows the top 3 matches with a confidence score, and says "not sure" when nothing is a strong match. The free tier includes about 20 IDs a month. It'll be on iPhone and iPad at launch, with Android later.
