A recent acquisition coupled with solid organic growth have given Procter & Gamble stock a lift Thursday.

The consumer packaged goods company raised its guidance for its all-in sales growth, thanks to its recent acquisition of health and supplement brand Thorne. On top of that acquisition, Proctor & Gamble saw growth increases across all its product categories, a big turnaround from the prior quarter when some segments were flat or slightly lower.

Revenue grew 4% to $23.28 billion in the fiscal first quarter, above Wall Street’s call for $22.79 billion. Adjusted earnings of $2 a share topped analysts’ consensus estimates of $1.88.

“While we expect there will continue to be geopolitical and economic challenges, this strong start keeps us on track to deliver within our guidance ranges for organic sales growth, core EPS growth and free cash flow productivity for the fiscal year,” CEO Shailesh Jejurikar said Thursday.
