I tried to put real craft into a small notch app for working with multiple Claude Code sessions

I run a lot of Claude Code sessions at once and wanted a nicer way to live with them. So I made Perch. It sits in the Mac notch (yeah, another notch app) and keeps every session in one list. From there you can: see what each session did approve, pick an option or reply without switching windows jump back to the exact window or terminal pane I'm a big Raycast and Linear fan, so I went overboard on the feel. Everything has a keyboard shortcut, and there's a little character who follows your mouse. How Claude helped: Claude Code wrote most of it, the Swift app, the UI and the hooks that let you answer from the notch. The hard part was getting it to have taste. What worked was a design studio: one page running the real UI with sample data, with ~240 scenarios for every state the app can be in. Claude had to show me every visual change there first, and nothing shipped until I said yes. Even the trailer was filmed from that page. Free, MIT, runs 100% locally, no telemetry. macOS 15+. Would love feedback, especially if you run a lot of sessions at once.
