I tested DeepSeek Harness, and my biggest takeaway wasn’t speed - it was faster learning

I’ve recently started using DeepSeek Harness as a coding agent, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by its performance. It feels like a serious alternative to tools such as Claude AI and Codex , especially when the goal is to move quickly from an idea to a working experiment. What stood out to me was not just the ability to generate code. The real value was being able to: Test ideas faster Iterate without getting stuck Explore different approaches Move from planning to execution more quickly Learn through practical experimentation My main lesson is that the best AI coding tool is not necessarily the one with the most features. It’s the one that fits naturally into your workflow and helps you keep building consistently. AI tools can accelerate the process, but they don’t replace judgment. You still need to understand the problem, review the output, test everything properly, and make the final decisions yourself. I’m still exploring DeepSeek Harness, but my first experience has been positive.
