We built a video editor where Claude Code writes new features into the app while it's running

Powermove is a video editor for Mac. If you want a panel, effect, or workflow it doesn't have, you ask Claude Code and it writes an extension that loads into the app you already have open. If it's wrong, tell it what to fix. Every change can be undone. Pretty much the whole editor (timeline, effects, inspector) is built from those same extensions, so the agent has the same tools we used to build it. How Claude helped: We built the editor with Claude Code in about two months. Since every panel is its own extension, Claude could rebuild one without breaking the rest. That let us iterate fast: Claude builds a version, we use it, we tell it what feels off, and it redoes it. Most panels went through several rounds like that. The agent inside Powermove is the same loop, with the same tools, pointed at your project. Free and open source, Apple Silicon only for now.
