What's the safest way to expose self-hosted apps to the internet?

Hi everyone, I have a home server running Ubuntu with several Docker applications, and another server with GPUs for local AI inference. I'd like to make some of my applications accessible over the internet for different purposes: - Personal use - Small clients (a few users, potentially handling sensitive data) - Public demos Some apps would also need access to my local GPU server. My main concern is security. I want to avoid putting my home network, personal files, and other services at risk if one of the exposed applications gets compromised. I'm based in Europe, so GDPR compliance and data privacy are important to me. I'd also prefer to avoid dependencies on US-based cloud providers due to concerns about the US CLOUD Act, especially when handling sensitive client data. I really enjoy self-hosting and having control over my infrastructure, but I'm open to changing my architecture or paying for external hosting if it provides better security and privacy. How would you approach this? What setup would you recommend, and why? I'd love to hear how others handle similar situations. Thanks!
