I made a lightweight Codex usage monitor for the Windows taskbar
I know there are already quite a few Codex usage monitors out there, but I wanted something simple that sits directly in the Windows taskbar without taking up extra screen space. So I made CodexTaskbarMonitor . It shows the remaining 5-hour and weekly limits, reset countdowns, and can notify you when a limit is reached or becomes available again. It's a tiny (~310 KB) native Windows app written in C++. No .NET, no extra dependencies, no telemetry. Free and open source (MIT). Maybe someone else will find it useful too!
