0$ costs motion video plugin/skills
I built Motionable , an open-source plugin/skill for Claude Code and Codex that creates simple promotional videos without needing subscriptions to third-party AI video generators. Just to set expectations, it's not meant to generate cinematic or overly complex videos. The goal is to create clean, simple motion graphics that communicate your app or product clearly without unnecessary elements. Here's what it can do: Analyze your app repository, website, or screenshots. Create a storyboard with animations and transitions. Generate original background music. Render videos locally using Swift and native macOS frameworks. Export in 9:16, 16:9, or 1:1 formats. Make revisions using natural language prompts. No After Effects, Remotion, ffmpeg, or paid video generation APIs needed. It's currently built and tested primarily for Claude Code, with experimental Codex Agent Skills support. GitHub: github.com/suntay44/motionable It's free, MIT-licensed, and currently macOS-only. Your normal Claude Code or Codex usage still applies. I've included some sample videos in the repository so you can see what kind of output to expect. Still improving it, and I'd appreciate feedback or contributions from anyone interested in trying it out.
