Self hosted docker development environment?

So my gf wants to develop a web hosted app for herself (with claude) and knows that making one to run in a container is the best way to go. She's currently setting up a dev env on her laptop but I had the idea that maybe I could provide her a some sort of a ready development environment on my server? Maybe something with a web ui and a folder she can access with vs code? Is a tool like this a thing?
