General Purpose Consulting.
. Today is the day.
I am launching GPC:
→ First, watch the launch on Linkedin.
GPC (= General Purpose Consulting) is my AI Adoption Company.
Because the world is going crazy with AI.
Too crazy.
The pressure to master it is unbearable.
So people are lost. You are lost.
You scroll social media & you feel behind:
- What ‘GPT’ stands for? You don’t know.
- How does an LLM work? A what?
- Should you use Graph Knowledge? Maybe.
- What about agent harness? Hopefully not.
(Stick until the end to know the answers)
All of this is ridiculous.
You want to know how to AI.
Not what’s AI.
So you go to universities.
And it’s even more stupid.
Just take a look at how Stanford teaches Enterprise about AI:
Some of you read this newsletter because you hate this.
You hate that people teach AI the academic way.
I feel you. I always tell my dad: “I don’t teach people to know how to build a phone. I teach people how to use a phone”. Because I don’t know how to code. I cannot program & train my own AI.
I don’t care about this.
I care about how to best use AI.
‘How to AI’ was born.
But it is not enough.
You are a reader of this newsletter, one of the 950,000 readers.
Maybe you’re even a good one. One that has enough agency to implement everything I teach. You might have even joined our community.
It is awesome at the human level. You.
It is not sustainable at the company level.
You don’t teach AI the same way to one person as to an entire team.
GPC was born.
I rarely ask for support, but I would love your repost on my Linkedin post.
GPC was born.
I met Grant Hushek, our CEO, in 2023.
It clicked instantly.
- Grant is an educator. He spent eight years teaching everything from kindergarten math to college graduates.
- Grant is a consultant. He has taught AI to billion-dollar organizations with his former company, ‘Grantbot’. I acquired Grantbot to form GPC.
- Grant is family-oriented. His brother, dad, grandpa, and many other generations before him worked at Phoenix Heat Treating (previously Wesley Steel Treating).
When you teach a 200-employee family business to use AI, you cannot be academic. No one cares.
You can’t teach them Probabilistic Graphical Models or how to use an Agent Harness. They will laugh at you, and rightfully so.
This is a business with a marketing team, a sales team, logistics, and clear needs.
They use documents, PDFs, Excel files, images, and videos. They don’t care about AI. They want a better business, with better margins.
So when someone pitches them “10X BETTER WITH AI” they walk away.
And Grant understands it. We had a drink before the acquisition.
I booked a flamenco show, but he insisted we drink espresso martinis first. Sure. Let’s get two mad men obsessed with AI adoption in a gloomy Madrid bar, remaking the world as new models dropped left and right.
He mentioned our first client together. 45 people making $700 million in annual revenue (8% margin) in the food industry.
Grant told me: “I don’t want them to become an AI company. They have a good business already! They fear a technology they never tried.”
Grant’s team quickly realized two of the 45 people were just copying and pasting text in order fulfillment (simple PDFs of who buys/sells things). We automated it. Now two new guys joined the sales team.
“If your team has 45 people, getting 10% better is adding 4 people to the team!”
Grant got it.
I acquired his company.
‘Granbot’ became ‘GPC’.
And I couldn’t ask for a better CEO.
Storytelling is fun & games, but how does it concern you? What do we do at GPC that could help you solve your problems?
I know your problems very well.
Grant & I, we are obsessed with your problems.
- You deal with AI alone. You read a newsletter alone. You bookmark posts. You give yourself a couple of minutes here & there to try things out.
- You are ashamed. You feel like you should know better how to use it. Everyone at your company feels the same. No one can say it out loud. What if they discover you’re not keeping up?
- Your management is just as lost. They have no AI roadmap. They don’t know whom to trust. They don’t want to change everything, but they feel the pressure to do something. But what?
The first step is simple: get a clear roadmap.
2-minute video · Watch on LinkedIn
You need a map.
It took us 6 months to build the roadmap.
- How to tell if you actually have AI adoption, or just a few power users, and why the weakest part of your AI operation sets your real maturity level, not the average.
- How to turn your best AI user into an adoption engine by documenting what they actually do, turning it into repeatable workflows, and sharing it with everyone else.
- Why your first cross-functional AI project should usually start with read access, not write access, and how to find the handoff between two teams that is actually worth fixing.
- Where to automate first based on what is actually constraining the business: (1) customer-facing work if demand is the problem, (2) the longest queue if delivery is the problem, or (3) around IT if every AI project is stuck waiting on engineering.
- Why more autonomy is not always the next step. Once AI takes action, you must define authority, log decisions, and plan for human corrections. You can’t go on autopilot right away.
- Exactly what to accomplish in the next 30, 60, and 90 days: a summary of the previous points, as a roadmap.
It took me 6 months to build it.
But it takes you 60 seconds to get yours at roadmap.gpc.consulting.
A roadmap is how you get started. Then you need to discuss it with professionals.
Give us 30 minutes. And we will tell you why your adoption stopped (or didn’t even start). If we’re not the right fit, we will say so on the call. The first 30 minutes are on us (meaning free). The last thing I want is a client we can’t satisfy.

So what’s “GPT”?
GPT is just:
- G as Generative. Because it makes things (text, image, video…).
- P as Pre-trained. Because it learned from the internet.
- T as Transformer. Because it auto-completes (finds the next words).
Are you better at AI because you know what “GPT” means?
No.
That’s why we don’t teach AI like this at GPC.
I don’t care about you knowing what these words mean. I want you to master and adopt the technology. To feel confident in using AI, no matter how fast it goes.
But because I promised you the definition… here are the last ones:
- How does an LLM work? LLMs (Large Language Models, the fancy word for ChatGPT or Claude) use probabilities to predict the next words. You want to be even fancier at dinner? They use an Attention Matrix.
- Should you use Graph Knowledge? No. It’s just a technical data thing researchers use. Or coders. We are not AI researchers. We practice AI.
- What about agent harness? The most known ones are ChatGPT Codex or Claude Code. You have others. You should not care.
You feel the difference? This is what we do at GPC.
We don’t charge you to sit down and listen to a lecture.
We respect your time. You want results, fast, and to make sure adoption sticks.
We don’t fall in love with the technology (I mean, we do love AI, I’m not gonna lie). We fall in love with helping your company do its thing even better.
Look, at this point, if you didn’t watch the Linkedin launch video or grab your roadmap, I’m not sure what to say.
Maybe you want to message me first?
