IPhone 18 Pro Max order still on placed status

So I placed an order for iPhone 18 pro max (256gb burgundy) on September 18 and it still says placed with a target date of Oct 29-Nov 4. Somehow people who placed the order after me have already gotten their phones. I don’t think the orders are being processed first come first serve as they’ve claimed🥲
