Burnt out after a 3rd failed startup (I will not promote)
I've been working in early stage startups in the Bay area for 7 years now and currently working at my third one. And after several years of trying to make this product successful I think the writing is on the wall that this will be another failure. I love startups for some reason and eventually want to start my own. But it's been an unhealthy cycle of stress and burnout trying to make something work only to not succeed and I think I need a break from it and get a regular job so I can focus on other things in life outside of the work grind. That being said I feel like at this point in time I don't even know how to join a larger company because I don't know what position I would be qualified for. I've only ever worked in startups so I don't even know what the corporate world is like and this job market does not give me any real confidence. I have a technical background but I've worked on all aspects of a business and worn every hat, but none of them to a capacity I would feel confident enough saying "I have years of experience" even if I went back to my engineering roots. Plus the burnout/depression is not doing me any favors. Honestly I'm just looking for any advice in navigating this.
