Comment on AI and Teaching – The Brave New World by OutSide Hustle

At 82 years old, I've been an avid user of Claude and have begun teaching it to my Entrepreneurship students (who are incarcerated: www.outsidehustle.org). Today I revealed a website and strategic plan that Claude built in a matter of minutes for one of my student's projects. My message to them: the playing field just got a lot fairer for you folks when you get out...and if you rely upon only this tool, you're heading for failure.

Having previously taught a graduate course at NYU I began to see AI replace critical thinking on the part of my students...I decided to retire and devote myself to OutSide Hustle.

As a father of two grown men, the struggle about how much to introduce AI to students is very reminiscent of the decisions I made around introducing them to calculators.

Finally, the Business Model Canvas is the core of the course and students tell me that if is the first time they've put their ideas into a cohesive whole...and the difference it makes for them.
