In your experience, is it worth it to switch from 5.6 Sol to 6.1 Sol?

I've been using 5.6 Sol as my daily driver for a while and it's been really reliable. I tried GPT 6 Sol but it was so horrendously bad that I went back to 5.6 Sol. I've heard 6.1 Sol is an improvement over 6 Sol. But is it between than GPT 5.6 Sol? With how bad 6 Sol was, I've been hesitant to even try 6.1. I heard 6.1 Sol is slow in Codex, but I use the API which is supposedly faster. I've been happy with 5.6, but when the promotional pricing ends in November I may need to find an alternative, whether that's Opus 5.5 on a lower reasoning setting or 6.1 Sol if its good enough.
