The physical net protection is a very temporary solution. It will not be effective against either a swarm drone attack or advanced fiber-optic, first-person-view (FPV) drones where one drone would be acting in synchronized delay after another - similar to a tandem warhead used to defeat Explosive Reactive Armor on tanks.
